The World According to Sarah

I am Sarah, a collector of hobbies I’m not particularly good at but adore anyway. Pottery, gardening, running, strength training, yoga and sourdough all fall under the same category for me: enthusiastic amateur with main character delusion.

I don’t make perfect things. I make things that make me happy. Clay that wobbles. Plants that thrive only when they feel like it. Runs slow enough to be mistaken for a meditative nature documentary. Strength sessions where I celebrate lifting something slightly heavier than last week. Sourdough loaves that sometimes rise like a miracle and sometimes emerge with the chaotic energy of a medieval weapon.

My life is a patchwork of small attempts, tiny triumphs and the kind of humor you develop when you stop taking yourself so seriously. I want to move through the world with whimsy, the kind that lets you laugh at the mess, savor the progress and find magic in the in between moments.

I believe in showing up imperfectly. In doing things because they feel good, not because they look impressive. In choosing curiosity over mastery. In letting joy be enough.

This space, The World According to Sarah, is where I share the experiments, the misadventures, the soft moments and the things that make me feel alive. It’s not polished. It’s not curated. It’s just me, moving through the world with humor, grit, menopause chaos and a little bit of feral sparkle..
