Comfort Shows

Everyone has a comfort show, the one you’ve watched so many times it basically runs on autopilot. Mine is The Big Bang Theory.

I don’t have to think when it’s on. I don’t have to follow the plot. I already know every episode, every joke, every moment. It’s familiar in a way that feels easy after long days when my brain is done.

I put it on at night and let it play while I fall asleep. Not for entertainment. Just for comfort. Just for something steady and predictable when everything else feels loud.

There’s something nice about having a show that doesn’t ask anything from you. It just lets you rest.
