Sunrise
I work out in the morning because of the sunrise. That’s really the whole reason. I like the quiet. I like the stillness. I like having a moment where the world hasn’t started pulling at me yet.
There’s something about watching the sky wake up that makes me feel steady. The colors shift slowly. The air feels cooler. Everything feels calm. It’s the one part of the day where I don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. I can just move and exist without anyone needing anything from me.
Morning workouts aren’t about being disciplined or hardcore. They’re about getting a little peace before the day gets loud. When the sun comes up, it feels like a small reset. A reminder that I get to start fresh before life starts stacking itself on top of me.
Sunrises make me feel grounded. They make me feel present. They make me feel like I can start slow and still be okay.
That’s why I keep chasing them. Not for the workout. Not for the routine. But for the quiet that comes with the light.
